About
Geoff worked as a solicitor in private practice for 8 years undertaking a variety of work, in particular in personal injury and employment law (acting for both plaintiffs and defendants). He was then employed by the WorkCover Authority of NSW (now SafeWork NSW) for 13 years during which time he held various senior positions including Principal Solicitor, solicitor advocate and managerial roles. During that time he had conduct of a substantial number of prosecutions in all major industries and represented SafeWork at coronial inquests into workplace fatalities. Geoff has a highly developed understanding of the investigation and prosecution of work health and safety offences.
Geoff was called to the bar in 2018 and accepts briefs in the areas identified above.
